I’m the planner behind Chrizzy Plans — wedding planning and coordination across Muskoka, Simcoe County and cottage country.
I run Chrizzy Plans myself
I started Chrizzy Plans after several years as the wedding and events coordinator at Severn Lodge, one of Muskoka’s most established venues. I grew up in Toronto, spent time in Barrie, and eventually settled in Port Severn — a part of the province that changed how I think about weddings.
Cottage-country weddings don’t run like standard venue weddings, and Chrizzy Plans is built around that difference: real logistics, real properties, and couples who want a day that actually feels like theirs.
Real experience in cottage-country weddings
Before Chrizzy Plans, I worked as the wedding and events coordinator at Severn Lodge. That’s where I learned how weddings actually come together behind the scenes — timelines, vendor coordination, guest flow, and the weather and property logistics a standard ballroom never has to think about.

You’re not handed off to someone else
I run Chrizzy Plans myself, so you’re working directly with me from our first conversation through the wedding day. I ask questions instead of making assumptions, keep you involved in the decisions that matter to you, and handle the logistics so you don’t have to carry them alone.
My role isn’t to take over your wedding — it’s to give you structure, honest guidance, and a clear picture of what still needs attention. I take on a limited number of weddings each year, require a three-month minimum lead time, and work with traditional, non-traditional and LGBTQ+ couples alike, without caveat.
Rooted in Muskoka & Simcoe County
Cottages and private properties are a big part of why I do this work — tenting, rentals, power, parking, and vendor access all come with the territory, and I’ve planned around them plenty of times.
A little more about me
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me painting, reading, or rewatching Lord of the Rings for what’s probably the hundredth time. My girlfriend and my senior dog Gizmo keep me company back home in Port Severn — and that connection to cottage-country life is part of why I love the weddings I get to plan here.
